A NEW LIGHT - SAVANNAH BERRY; ART DIRECTOR

A New Light follows the story of a fearless young explorer who dreams of space travel. In actualizing her dreams, building a space ship, and living amongst the stars does she realize she yearns for the comfort of her garden back home.
The Beethoven Project, as this film had loving been dubbed in pre-production, is a collaboration between graduate students in the Animation and Visual Effects Master of Fine Art program within the School of Visual Art and Design at the University of Central Florida and the UCF Orchestra. Used to accompany the UCF Orchestra's performance of the Second Movement of Beethoven's Sixth Symphony the film was performed live at UCF's annual Celebrates the Arts Festival hosted by the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center. Additionally, pre-production artwork and production stills were presented at the Orlando Science Center highlighting the various stages of involved in creating a hybrid 2D-3D animated short.
